Additional Info
Terroir Area Information: Terroir: Kawane, Shizuoka, Japan, where the Oi River springs — clear cool nights, misty mornings, and narrow valleys that give the fields natural shade, and a harvest that runs about a month later than low-lying Shizuoka Reputation: Kawane and Honyama are regarded by connoisseurs as top Japanese tea-growing regions Cultivation Information: Cultivation: grown purely organic on a family-run boutique farm in Kawane, unnamed on the page Declarations of Inferences and Presumptions: Producer: identified as Shizuka Nouen, Moto-Fujikawa — Konishi Nobuyuki, fourth generation. Assembled, not stated by the vendor: a sibling product listed two days before this Kawane range names the supplier's cultivar Sakuramidori (Shizu 7132) with the same pesticide-free family-farm description, and the Kawane growers' register leaves exactly one farm matching that and carrying a counterpart for all eleven of the vendor's Kawane teas. Two alternative Kawane growers of this cultivar were excluded on their own published cultivar lists. Residual gap: the farm's own site lists no Yumewakaba, Benifuuki, or white tea, which the vendor sells as a first for that farm. Brewing parameters: taken from the vendor's own "How to brew Japanese green tea" guide, which the product page links to in place of per-product instructions. The figures are that guide's SENCHA row (3-5 g, 150 ml, 80 C, one minute), and are type-level guidance rather than a product-specific recommendation.
